rn If you’ve been with us for a while, you know that every Nane Nane rnAgricultural Exhibition tells a part of the MazaoHub story. But this rnyear… this year was something special.rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn Let’s take a quick journey back. In 2022, we were strangers to rnmany. Our CEO was the only one who made it to the event in Mbeya, Nane rnNane National Event; standing in our tiny booth with big dreams and a rnheart full of hope. rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrnrn rnrn In 2023, The Ministry of Agriculture saw us, and we became part ofrn Building a better tomorrow. Thank you Minister Bashe ; you have no idearn what seed you planted in Mbeya in 2023. That year, we met the Presidentrn herself—and it was Minister Hussein Bashe who introduced MazaoHub to rnher. It was a national stage in Mbeya Region, and we felt seen.rn

rn In 2024, we came in Dodoma. rnThis time, we had investors by our side and announced a major rninvestments —still hard to believe, even today.rn

rn
rn And then came 2025. From August 1st to 8th, we were at Nzuguni Grounds, Dodoma. The theme? “Choosing Good Leaders for Sustainable Development of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries 2025.” But for us, it was more than just a theme—it was the perfect backdrop for a defining chapter in our journey.rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn This year, we launched MazaoHub 2.0.2—ourrn most advanced version yet. A fully automated, AI-powered farm rnmanagement system where farmers and extension officers can work togetherrn seamlessly. If you’re an independent extension officer, you can now runrn soil tests with our kits and get instant reports once payments are rnconfirmed. If you’re a farmer, you can access six powerful agronomy rnfeatures and be paired with your own extension officer for season-long rnsupport as we call ourselves Tech and Touch. Real data, real people, rnreal results—right from your phone.rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrnrn rnrn And that’s not all. We also officially launched CropSupply.com—ourrn integrated market platform. It’s our bold step toward connecting rnfarmers directly with buyers, not just here in Tanzania but across the rnworld. Maybe it sounds ambitious for a company that started with such a rnsmall booth in 2022—but if there’s one thing MazaoHub has taught us, rnit’s that small beginnings can grow into something extraordinary.rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn Why our launch was different rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn We decided not to have Corporate Giant as our Guest of Honour. Instead, we chose a farmer—our farmer—Mr.rn Shaban Manota from Manyara Region. He started with us when we were rnstill testing and failing, but he trusted us. Back then, his yields and rnincome were low. Today, he is one of our biggest success stories, and hern stood before thousands to tell his journey. He reminded everyone why rnfarmers are the real “bosses” of agriculture—the ones who can make or rnbreak us.rn

rn The booth that wouldn’t restrn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn From regional leaders to rnsmall-scale farmers, from ministry officials to international guests—ourrn booth became a buzzing hive of curiosity and excitement. People came torn see the MazaoHub App in action, to understand how CropSupply.com connectsrn markets, and to talk about Soil health, climate-smart solutions. They rnsaw how farmers could become “tech heroes,” combining AI, soil science, rnand hands-on support to transform their fields.rn

rn
rn Partnerships that open doors rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn We welcomed thousands of visitors, including regional and districtrn commissioners from our operational regions and advisors to the rnPresident in food security. CRDB Bank explored how the verified farmer rndata we collect could power agricultural finance. Partners like SAGCOT rnand ACT brought new introductions—connecting us with organisations like rnPASS Tanzania. Every handshake and every conversation reminded us of onern thing: transformation happens when we work together.rn

rn
rn MazaoHub’s heartbeat rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn Our CEO, Geophrey Tenganamba, said it best: “We built these rnplatforms for everyone—farmers, extension officers, input suppliers, rnprocessors, financial institutions, and government. Because agriculture rnworks best when everyone is connected.” MazaoHub 2.0.2 processes data onrn soil health, plant health, and farmer profiles, making it possible for rnextension officers to deliver targeted, in-person support. This means rnlower costs, higher yields, and better market access for farmers—plus rnstronger value chains for the whole sector.rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn More than technology—it’s a movement rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn MazaoHub is part of the Building a Better Tomorrow (BBT) initiative,rn led by the Sixth Phase Government under President Samia Suluhu Hassan rnand the Ministry of Agriculture. Our work blends technology and rn“touch”—meaning we don’t just give farmers data, we give them people whorn care, guide, and walk the journey with them.rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn From that lone booth in 2022 to the double launch in 2025, our rnstory is one of trust, persistence, and believing in the impossible. Andrn if this is what we can achieve in just four years… imagine what’s next.rn
rnrn rnrnrnrnrnrnrn rn rnrn To every farmer, partner, investors and supporter—thank you.rn
